Building Brighter Futures Foundation (BBFF) is a voluntarily-run charity that works to improve the welfare and wellbeing of vulnerable and/or poverty stricken communities in developing countries by supporting access to education.

We work with two rural communities in Cambodia, a country still recovering from the devastating effects of the Khmer Rouge regime.  The loss of a generation of leaders, educators and qualified people, together with the forced separation of families and seizure of property, destroyed the very fabric of society and thwarted the Cambodian people’s ability to develop, prosper and grow.  Since 1979, the people of Cambodia have been slowly rebuilding their country.  Whilst many outside organisations assist this process in city areas, the majority of rural communities receive no services and remain impoverished and subsistence based.

Our hope is to grow BBFF over time so that we can broaden our focus to other communities needing similar support around the world.  We invite you to look through our website and involve yourself in the things we do.  We have regular updates about our various projects and programs and lots of photos for you to see.  Please help us give a child a chance for a brighter future …..
