Saturday, 18th Jan:

After breakfast, we travel by tuk tuk to the school for our volunteer project.  Our first morning at the school will begin with a blessing by the monks to wish us and the project good luck.  Our days will be broken into morning and afternoon work sessions, with a well-earned break for lunch in-between.  At the end of each day, we will return to the hotel to relax, cool down and enjoy some free time.  There will be an opportunity for you to join a small group walk through the local community on one of these days.

NoteLunch on these days are included, however drinks are at your expense.

$500 per Child  (under 18 years)

$2,000 per Family  (1 parent & 2+ children; or 2 parents & 1+ children)

If you have chosen to include the Sightseeing Extension (we highly recommend it!), we will begin today.  Over the next 3 days we will visit some of the awe-inspiring ancient Temples that make Cambodia special.  Travelling by tuk tuk, we will explore Angkor Wat, Bayon Temple, Ta Prohm and more with our experienced English-speaking guide.  Returning to the hotel around 4pm each day, you are free to relax, have a swim and enjoy dinner of your choosing.  On Monday, 20th, a pre-breakfast sunrise tour over Ankgor Wat is included for those who wish to go.  We finish with an enjoyable dinner and show at the Phare Circus on Tuesday, 21st.

NoteLunch each day and dinner on 21st are included, however drinks are at your expense. Sunrise tour and Circus ticket are included.  Please note that children under 12 are not permitted in some sections of Angkor Wat.

Sunday, 19th Jan - Tuesday, 21st Jan:

If you have chosen the Volunteer Experience only tour, this is your Departure Day.

Thursday, 23rd Jan:

Our last full day in Siem Reap is a free day for you to do your own thing.  Why not use the time for some last-minute shopping, to visit some sights or just relax by the pool for some ‘me’ time.
Departure day!  If time permits before our flights, we will make a final visit to the school to see the project and say goodbye to the students and staff.  Then it’s back to the hotel for last-minute packing and to check-out for your onward journey.  Transfer from the hotel to Siem Reap Airport is included for participants leaving today.
This year’s project is to pave a section of the school yard at Prey Thom Primary School to give the children a safe and clean area on which they can sit, play and carry out activities.  Depending on funds raised, we also hope to construct a bike shelter that will keep the bikes and scooters out of the weather and build some brick seating under the trees.
As part of the volunteering experience, participants will need to raise funds toward the project.  These funds will be used to undertake the work we do during the tour.  All fundraising contributions must be provided to BBFF by Monday, 18th November 2019 to enable us to prepare for the project.
Arrival Day!  We will collect you from Siem Reap Airport and transfer you to our hotel.  A welcome session for the group will take place in the hotel foyer at 7pm, after which we will introduce you to Pub St, where you can find some dinner.
